There’s this magical thing called time, and we never seem to have enough of it.

Between juggling kids, careers, partners, the mortgage, bills, the mother-in-law (or your own mom), the grocery store, the dog pooping in the living room.

Well, you get the picture.

When you say “I don’t have the time” what you are truly telling yourself is “I have no idea how to reach my goals.”

Because the truth is my friends, there is always enough time to do exactly what you need to do.

Your problem is not a “shortage of time” but one of TIME MANAGEMENT.

So ask yourself…. “how am I currently managing my time?”

Many of us are not managing our time.  AT ALL!

We don’t have a calendar, we don’t write our goals, and we don’t follow through with EVERY SINGLE THING we said we were going to do.

Obstacles become our reasons why we “can’t” instead of STRATEGIES to get the job done.

We just feel stuck in the day-to-day routine of life.

It can feel exhausting.

I struggled with this very problem for years.  And I taught myself how to make more time.

I’m not a magician, but I do have a regular practice that adds time into my day, and I want to share it with you.

What follows are the six steps I practice, every day, to GET SHIT DONE.

So go get a piece of paper and your calendar, cause we're about to make some time "magically" appear.

STEP 1: Make a 30-day goal.  Pick something, one thing, and only one thing, that you can GET DONE in 30 days.   The goal should be measurable and have a deadline.  Write the goal (and the deadline) down on paper.

STEP 2: On that same piece of paper, ask yourself the question “ What are the feelings I want and need to feel to get this work done?”

STEP 3: Next, write down the answer to the following question “What is the thought I need to think to feel this way about the work I’m about to do?”

STEP 4: Make a comprehensive list of EVERYTHING you need to do to accomplish that goal.  Note all the obstacles that are sure to get in your way or hang you up.

STEP 5: Turn those obstacles into strategies.  That’s right; your obstacles are the roadmap to reaching your goals.  So write those obstacles down as a strategy towards completion.

STEP 6: Put EVERY SINGLE thing you've written on that list (obstacles that you’ve turned to strategies) on your calendar.  Schedule the time and day you will get to work on each strategy.

  • Now listen up, because here is where most people get stuck:  You must COMMIT to doing what is on that calendar, no matter what.

  • Trust me; there will be days where you won’t want to get shit done.  But it doesn’t matter.  You’ve committed yourself, and you will do it.

This 6-Step plan to “GETTING SHIT DONE” is guaranteed to work.

Follow the plan.  Don’t deviate from it.   In the words of Nike, "just do it!"

You are going to be amazed at how much of your life you get back.  You deserve this. The art of “getting shit done” is one of the greatest, and most empowering gifts you can give yourself.

Are you ready?  Get that piece of paper out.

And I want to know how it goes!!  Send me a snapshot of your goals, or tell me how the process went.

This is such an exciting journey to share with you, and I can’t wait to see you kick some serious ass.

Much love,  Coach Kati
