Day 3 - Hormones and Weight Loss

Today's Lesson is a primer on the eight major hormones that have the biggest impact on our ability to lose weight.

 

When we understand the physiological reasons behind the sensation of hunger and cravings, we can respond to the feelings and discomfort associated with dieting through an objective lens.

 

Just because you feel hungry, does not mean your body needs food.

 

DAY 3 HOMEWORK:

 

1) Continue with your Daily Food Journal.

 

2) Continue adhering to the Protocol.

 

3) Practice the Thought Model: Look for one circumstance today that causes you distress. Use yesterday's Thought Model Handout to record your UNINTENTIONAL thought about the circumstance (on the C, F, T, A, R line). Next, take the same circumstance, and diagram it with your INTENTIONAL thought. What thought do you need to have in order to produce the result you want?
